Power factor refers to the relationship between effective power and total electricity consumption (apparent power), which is the ratio of effective power divided by total electricity consumption (apparent power). Basically, power factor can measure the degree to which electricity is effectively utilized, and the larger the power factor value, the higher its electricity utilization rate.
Power factor is a parameter used to measure the efficiency of electrical equipment, and low power factor represents low power efficiency. Magnetic devices used to improve the power factor of electrical equipment are called power factor correctors.
